About

Bryanna Alysa Phimphachanh (b. 2001) is a Los Angeles–based painter whose practice explores introspection through oil painting. Her work investigates the self, family, and the symbolic presence of animals. Phimphachanh builds layers of gossamer-thin oil paint and employs soak staining techniques, creating surfaces that appear mottled and bruised, with subtle shifts in color and texture. Poetry, memory, bodily sensations, and the experience of loss permeate her paintings, inviting the viewer into intimate and reflective spaces.
