About
Bryanna Phimphachanh (b. 2001) is a painter working and living in Los Angeles, CA. Her practice centers around oil painting, using the medium as a form of introspection with subjects consisting of the self, family members, and past lovers. Phimphachanh uses gossamer thin layers of oil paint and soak staining methods to fuse the figure with the foreground and background, creating moments where the figure dissipates. She studied Fine Art Illustration at ArtCenter College of Design and participated in department and group exhibitions during her undergraduate studies.
